Kickstarting Tasty Bakery

I’m really excited about this— Ann Arbor area’s Tasty Bakery is looking to open a brick-and-mortar shop! Which means more of their gluten-free and vegan desserts and breads. Honestly, I like their baked goods not just because they’re wheat free, but because they’re delicious. Their teff bread makes great sandwiches, their savory rosemary crackers make satisfying snacks, and their rich brownies hit the spot for a sweet tooth craving. Check out their Kickstarter page to help out.

Right now, you can pick up their brownies at Zingerman’s, but you have to walk past piles of bread and other baked goodies you can’t eat. They’re at the Ann Arbor’s Farmers Market as well, but that’ s only twice a week— weather and football traffic permitting.

Bonus: when you pledge, you get a baked goodie, along with the knowledge you’re helping a local business get their start. Another bonus: they’ll be offering baking classes. Baking classes, so I can learn how to make those amazing brownies, did you say? Sign me up!
